Big Steaming Pile of Shit

The Alexis de Tocqueville Institution has published a report claiming Linus Torvalds was not really the father of Linux. I have not gotten to read the report yet, but there are mentions of in on C:Net, ZDNet, Linux Insider, Newsfactor, and Technobable. Apparently most of the accusations revolve around the notion that Linus stole code from Minix. The author clearly didn't bother paying attention to his own research (what little there was) since the creator of Minix strongly disputes his conclusion about the origins of Linux. Oh yea, did I mention that Microsoft funds the institute?
